THERAPY 2 Pressure Care Surface

Premium smart surface for vulnerable patients

The Therapy 2 pressure care surface is a standalone air pressure redistribution surface designed to manage your vulnerable patients by providing advanced skin protection therapy modes, with a choice of Alternating Low Pressure (ALP) and Continuous Low Pressure (CLP) with automatic pressure adjustment, pressure injury mode and advanced microclimate management. Therapy2 is specially equipped to help in the prevention of common complications associated with immobility with Continuous Lateral Rotation Therapy and proning capabilities to support for pulmonary therapy protocols.

Contact Free Continuous Monitoring, monitors patients Heart Rate and Respiratory Rate to act as a second set of eyes for the early detection of patient deterioration.

Overview

Meet an Air Pressure Mattress Designed for Today’s Healthcare Organisations

The Therapy 2 pressure care surface is a standalone full-air surface. This therapeutic surface has integrated pulmonary, pressure injury prevention and prone features designed with critically ill patient in mind. It can support hospital protocols to assist in the prevention of pressure injury and pulmonary complications associated with immobility. It is ideally suited for ICU and stepdown environments.

Enhance Patient Experience

Expect more than just a hospital mattress. The Therapy2 provides a choice of pressure redistribution therapies ALP and CLP to enhance patient comfort. Mobilisation mode (Trun Assist)reduces the physical manual handling of the patient for more comfortable repositioning in bed.

Simplify Caregiver Workflow

Choice of therapies reduces the need to transfer patients to alternative therapy. X-ray sleeve reduces time in repositioning patients for upper body x-ray.

Improved Technologies for Patient Management

Stay connected - Stay informed on surface and/or patient so you can act to patient needs more quickly. Wi-Fi connectivity ready for connection to Nurses station, Electronic Medical Health Records and for device Service Management.

Support Pulmonary Protocols

Help your immobile patients breathe easier with proper positioning — without additional effort to your clinicians.

  • Provide continuous lateral rotation (CLR) therapy to help prevent pulmonary complications*
  • Support proning orders and protocols with prone management*

Expect Advanced Skin Protection for Preventing Pressure Injuries

Immobile patients are at higher risk for skin breakdown.1 The Therapy 2 pressure care surface is designed for advanced skin protection, so you can:

  • Assist in the prevention and treatment of pressure injury with Continuous Low Pressure (CLP) or Alternating Low Pressure (ALP) therapy modes
  • Adjust air pressure with Comfort Adjust technology
  • Help turn patients easily with patient mobilisation mode and reminders
  • Manage heat and moisture with improved MicroClimate Management

Be Alerted to Signs of Patient Deterioration

As a second set of eyes, the contact-free, continuous monitoring system acts as a compliment to episodic and continuous vital signs monitors and alerts the caregiver of heart or respiratory rates that exceed the pre-determined thresholds.2

Visualise patient and surface data where you need it

The Therapy2 surface help you stay connected even when you’re not in your patients’ room by:

  •  Bringing clinicians to the bedside for faster interventions with timely alert
  •  Sending clinical data from the surface to the nurse’s station or EMR

Stay Connected to Patient and Surface Status

Send out bed alerts, surface pressure and inflation mode notifications and other surface data where you need it either the Nurses station or via the Electronic Medical Health Record (EMR)
